Odu creates sculptural objects that reference everyday objects.
Odu is inspired by the corals, shells, and strange fruits of his native Philippines. He evokes fantastical versions of them.
Each texture is obtained by piercing the clay with various tools of varying sharpness to create organic and living imprints.
The transformation of this smooth and plastic material then becomes mineral, vegetable or animal.
He favours unique pieces, modeling and cultivates perfect imperfection.
