Le Ruisseau is a ceramic duo formed by Églantine Merle and François Marteau.

After studying art, they engaged in sculptural, pictorial practices and contemporary jewelry.

They retain a taste for transformation Their focus is on the material itself, the expressiveness of their gestures, and their attention to detail. Ceramics is now their preferred medium.

Inspired by *Histoire d'un ruisseau*, an inspiring work by the poet and geographer Elisée Reclus, they are attentive to a familiar nature. an era which they strive to always regard with wonder. Their ceramics are associated with natural places conducive to the emergence of the imagination, such as the foreshore, caves or mountains.

Le Ruisseau wishes to honor the fundamental links that connect us to nature and to reweave them.
