The teapot handles were made from lacquered linen in collaboration with Lucie Damond.
Pierre Culot (1938-2011) grew up in Namur. He apprenticed in the ceramic workshop of Maredsous Abbey then trained with Charles Leplae at the National School of Architecture and Decorative Arts of La Cambre in Brussels.
He refined his apprenticeship with Bernard Leach in Great Britain then stayed in different countries in Europe, Africa and Japan where he met Shoji Hamada.
He settled in Roux-Miroir in 1964 and won several international prizes.
