The pieces in this "Terra Cotta" series are made of sand and flour and baked in their linen macramé baskets.

Talia Mukmel was inspired by desert communities who use raw resources found in their environment to create everyday objects.

His work is driven by the desire to create sensitive pieces that appear to be marked by time.

Talia Mukmel is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the Jerusalem School of Arts and Design.
