Birgit Knupfer worked as a ceramist for 10 years in her country of origin before settling in France and setting up her workshop in Morvan then in La Borne.

She is a recognized potter and has been invited to participate in numerous exhibitions throughout Europe. His work is inspired by popular tradition.
