After a career as a painter, Marie Lautrou turned to ceramics.

Since then, she's been creating plates, bowls and dishes, imprinting gesture with movement. Her pottery is like fragments of a landscape placed on the table, with its rough, straightforward material and shapes that retain the dance of the throwing process.

On her pieces, decoration is only a trace.
