Safre placemat

Placemat in old metis dyed by fermentation and coated with chestnut-colored beeswax from Safre in collaboration with l'Oeil de KO.

Sold individually. Six in stock, more available upon order.

Safre is a craft workshop created in 2019 by Martin Bady. It combines clothing design and textile finishing, particularly through textile printing.

Its unique feature lies in the use of fermentation dyeing, an archaic process that dates back to antiquity. This process gives the Safre workshop's creations a unique character that we instantly fell in love with.

With Martin, we created limited editions of placemats, tablecloths and napkins.

All of Safre's creations are uneven, singular, and unique. The processes used are ancient.
