Guillaume Campredon is a French sculptor born in Versailles (France) in 1991.
He works primarily with limestone and granite.
He discovered sculpture during his semiotics studies and further developed his practice through self-study. His doctoral thesis, defended in October 2021 at the University of Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas and entitled, "Towards a theory of the augmented sign, semiotics of the monster in society. The media and political trajectories of the sign and the Pokémon franchise", complements his artistic approach.
He is among the winners of the Hermès 2023 Academy of Know-How dedicated to stone.
