Oberflacht was born from its two founders' desire to create a hand-dipped, pitch-black taper candle. To achieve the purest color, they realized they needed to find a unique formula to dye the naturally yellow beeswax. Thus, in 2020, their first product was born.

 Since then, they have dedicated themselves to handcrafting unique pieces: modern beeswax candles with unexpected designs and rich colors, created using the most traditional techniques. This artistic approach is the shared vision of two friends: one is an aesthetic visionary with extensive design knowledge, the other specializes in interior design, vintage furniture, and handcrafted objects.
