Stoneware plates by Marie Lautrou
Stoneware plates by Marie Lautrou.
Handmade in her Parisian workshop and painted by Eliot and Noah, two children who live down the street from the workshop.
Unique pieces. Sold by 6.
Marie Lautrou discovered the richness of beautiful utilitarian objects when she met the ceramist Dauphine Scalbert.
Since then, she has been creating plates, bowls and dishes by imprinting the gesture in the movement. The pottery here is like fragments of landscape placed on the table, with its frank and rough material and forms that retain the dance of the throwing process.
On his pieces, the decoration is only a trace.
